Bridget Brown
Chief Operating Officer
Bridget Brown brings over a decade of leadership experience in operations, development, and community engagement to her role as Chief Operating Officer at UCHC. She excels at driving process improvements and building strong partnerships that enhance the organization’s mission. Before joining UCHC, Bridget played a key role at Gleaners Community Food Bank, where she led efforts to optimize operations and deepen community connections. As chair of the Livingston County Hunger Council, she guided the county's response to food insecurity during and after the pandemic, further showcasing her dedication to addressing community needs.
Bridget has also served as an advisor to Michigan State University Extension and Titan Equity Nourishment Network at UDM, contributing to collaborative solutions for food insecurity. She holds a BA from the University of Detroit Mercy and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. Recognized as a Ford Motor Company Fund International Fellow and a Fisher Fellow with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, she is also a member of Contemplative Leaders in Action – Detroit. Bridget’s leadership and passion for community empowerment are instrumental in advancing UCHC’s mission to ensure housing stability for all.
