Keturah Epps serves as the Director of Tax Foreclosure Prevention at United Community Housing Coalition (UCHC), bringing nearly a decade of experience as a public educator to her role. An alumna of the University of Michigan, Keturah has been instrumental in various projects since joining UCHC in 2021, all aimed at strengthening housing stability in her native Wayne County. Her deep community roots fuel her passion for increasing homeownership in Detroit while ensuring that current homeowners are protected from tax foreclosure.
In her role, Keturah is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prevent tax foreclosure, working closely with at-risk homeowners to provide them with the necessary resources and guidance. She conducts outreach efforts to educate the community about tax assistance programs and the importance of homeownership, empowering families to navigate the complexities of the housing landscape. Keturah collaborates with local organizations, government entities, and stakeholders to create comprehensive support systems that address the root causes of housing instability.
