Kim Stroud
Program Director, Homeownership Services
Kim Stroud has been a dedicated leader at United Community Housing Coalition (UCHC) since 2008, currently serving as the Program Director of Homeownership Services. Previously, she directed Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention & Land Contract Support, overseeing vital initiatives that help individuals and families secure stable housing. In her current role, Kim continues to lead efforts in title research and real estate transactions, ensuring that residents have access to the resources they need for successful homeownership.
A HUD-certified professional in Foreclosure Prevention and Financial Coaching, Kim is also a licensed Associate Broker in real estate, bringing a wealth of knowledge to her work. Her background includes valuable experience as a communications specialist for the Detroit City Council President, the ACLU of Michigan, the Neighborhood Information Exchange, and the Metropolitan Center for High Technology.
A graduate of Oberlin College, Kim also holds a master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan. Her extensive expertise and commitment to advocating for housing stability reflect UCHC’s mission of ensuring that every Detroit resident has a safe and secure place to call home.
